Ewell Village Clean up – Saturday 21st April
Ewell Village Residents Association, supported by Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, and with the help and support of Glyn School, will be holding a community litter picking morning on Saturday 21 April.
This is the rescheduled day after the Beast from the East snowed us in our previous date.
Volunteers are invited to assemble at 10am in Bourne Hall car park. Litter pickers and refuse sacks will be provided, but please bring your own gloves and wear clothing suitable for the conditions.
If you are not able to join us at that date and time, please feel free to tidy up in your own area. If you let us know we can ask the Council to arrange to pick up any bagged litter and rubbish collected.
Also if you are aware of any litter ‘hot spots’ in and around Ewell Village please tell us and we will do our best to send a crew to sort it out on the day.

Ewell Village Fair – Saturday 14th July
Ewell Village Fair, organised by St Mary’s Church, is a fun day out for all the family. This year it will take place on Saturday 14th July in the Glyn House grounds of Ewell Castle school.
The Church is looking for help, through donations for the bottle tombola and other stalls, including books, cakes, plants and toys. These can be brought to the church office any time up to Sunday 9th July.
They also need volunteers to give an hour or two on the day to help run a stall or sideshow or sit in church, to run the full complement of attractions at the Fair. If you are interested please call the church office on 02028 393 2643, or visit: www.stmarysewell.com/contact-us/.
Ewell Village Traders Association will also be organising a series of events on 14th July to coincide with, and support the Fair. It is hoped the High Street will be closed to allow various attractions and performances to take place, and enable traders to showcase what they have to offer on one of the village’s busiest days of the year. More details will appear in our next newsletter.
